Mortgage Loan Originator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develops and fosters referral connections (including customer referrals, realtors, builders, and both professional and personal contacts) to drive sales of residential mortgage loans and establish a robust pipeline.

• Takes full responsibility for the residential mortgage loan process from application through to closing.

• Gathers necessary documentation from each applicant and inputs the 1003 application into the Loan Origination System (LOS), specifically Encompass.

• Stays informed about available loan products and originates a variety of mortgage loan products including permanent single family (1-4), FHA, VA, USDA, JUMBO, and conventional loans (FNMA/FHLMC/FHA/VA, etc.).

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of one year of relevant experience in self-generating mortgage loans.

• Established connections and referrals with local realtors, builders, and similar contacts.

• Possession of an NMLS License.

• Familiarity with conventional and/or government lending guidelines.

• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Proven proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office (Excel, Word) or other comparable software applications.

• Strong ambition to succeed in a competitive landscape.

• Required to register as a Mortgage Loan Originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) and maintain the unique identification registration number.
