This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Montana.

📋 Description

• Initiate and oversee purchase mortgage loans from the application stage through to closing, ensuring adherence to all compliance requirements.

• Transform company-sourced purchase opportunities into financed loans through proactive engagement and effective consultation with borrowers.

• Cultivate robust relationships with customers and, when applicable, with Zillow Preferred Agents and local partners.

• Handle an active loan pipeline while achieving established service levels, productivity standards, and funding goals.

• Utilize Zillow’s CRM, loan origination systems (LOS), and data-driven resources to maintain pipeline integrity and enhance customer interaction.

• Collaborate with centralized processing, underwriting, and closing teams to facilitate efficient loan processing.

• Provide a consistent, high-quality customer experience through communication via phone, email, and text.

• Remain informed on market dynamics, lending programs, and regulatory standards to offer customized financing solutions.

• Maintain current licensing, fulfill educational requirements, and engage in continuous professional development.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mortgage origination, with a strong focus on purchase transactions.

• Active NMLS Loan Originator status with appropriate state licenses or as a Loan Originator under a federal bank license.

• Completion of the 20-hour CORE Pre-Licensing Education and successful completion of the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator Test – National Component with Uniform State Content.

• Demonstrated success in originating purchase loans in a high-volume, phone-based sales environment or an agent-centric referral model.

• Strong client service focus complemented by consultative sales skills and a thorough understanding of the mortgage process.

• Ability to thrive in a structured, performance-driven setting with clearly defined key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to quickly establish trust.

• Strong organizational, time management, and pipeline management capabilities.

• Proficient in CRM, LOS, and Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel).

• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
