Mortgage Loan Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mississippi.

📋 Description

• Initiate and oversee the process of purchase mortgage loans from application to closing while ensuring adherence to compliance standards.

• Transform company-generated purchase opportunities into funded loans through diligent follow-up.

• Cultivate robust relationships with clients, Zillow Preferred Agents, and community partners.

• Manage a dynamic pipeline while fulfilling established service levels and funding expectations.

• Utilize Zillow’s CRM and data-centric tools to maintain pipeline health.

• Collaborate with centralized processing, underwriting, and closing teams.

• Provide a consistent, high-quality customer experience through various communication channels.

• Keep abreast of market trends, lending programs, and regulatory obligations.

• Maintain active licenses and engage in continuous professional development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in mortgage origination with a significant focus on purchase transactions.

• Active NMLS Loan Originator with appropriate state licenses or serving as a Loan Originator under a federal bank license.

• Completion of the 20-hour CORE Pre-Licensing Education and successful completion of the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator Test.

• Demonstrated success in high-volume, phone-based sales or agent-centered referral models.

• Strong client service focus combined with consultative sales abilities.

• Comfortable working in a structured, performance-oriented environment.

• Exceptional verbal communication skills.

• Strong skills in time management, organization, and pipeline oversight.

• Proficient with CRM, LOS, and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
