This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.
• Generate purchase and refinance loans by promptly responding to leads provided by the company via phone, including those from internet sources, direct mail campaigns, referrals, and other targeted marketing initiatives.
• Interact with customers to assess their needs and suggest suitable products.
• Oversee a loan pipeline from the application stage through to closing, working alongside underwriting, processing, and various teams to guarantee timely and precise loan approvals.
• Gather all essential information for loan closure in a timely manner, including but not limited to credit reports, income verification, appraisals, etc.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state lending regulations, including the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), and Fair Lending standards, while maintaining accurate and compliant documentation.
• Deliver exceptional customer service.
• Achieve individual monthly sales targets.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging trends in the mortgage industry.
• Adhere to the Newrez Code of Conduct.
• Execute related responsibilities as assigned by management.
• An Associate's Degree or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• Experience in mortgage or banking origination is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of origination experience.
• An active NMLS license is necessary.
• A comprehensive understanding of appraisals, title reports, and product guidelines is essential.
• Must uphold mortgage licenses by completing required annual continuing education.
• Proven ability to use persuasive communication skills; inside sales experience is a plus.
