Mortgage Banker Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist the Mortgage Banker in boosting production volume for the designated area as instructed.

• Execute related administrative tasks as required and/or assigned.

• Accept and carry out additional responsibilities deemed necessary.

• Complete compliance training and follow anti-money laundering guidelines, procedures, and regulatory mandates.

• Ensure adherence to SouthState Bank’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics as well as operational procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• Prior experience with FHA, State Housing Conventional, and FNMA/FMLMC loans is preferred.

• Exceptional communication and computer skills are essential.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Proficient customer service skills.

• Must complete annual compliance training.

• Capability to effectively access and interpret information displayed on computer screens, documents, and reports.

• Must maintain a secure home office environment free from background noise and distractions.

• Reliable private internet connection is required, preferably cable or fiber, not provided by cellular data/hot spot.

• Willingness to travel to meetings as necessary.
