This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and enhancement of monitoring and evaluation systems that focus on outcomes and impacts across international programs in Europe, Eurasia, the Middle East, and Asia.
• Offer technical advice to project teams and leadership regarding program design, indicator development, data analysis, reporting, and evidence-based decision-making.
• Facilitate ministry activities and support OB’s Biblical mission to provide assistance in Christ’s name, addressing both physical and spiritual needs.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in International Development, Monitoring and Evaluation, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Political Science, Public Health, or a related field.
• Between 1-3 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation of international humanitarian and/or development programs.
• Proven experience in designing tools and methodologies for data collection, analysis, management, and quality assurance.
• Extensive knowledge and experience working in diverse cultural environments.
• Excellent writing and editing abilities, with a capacity to produce documents and reports suitable for publication.
• Strong communication, research, and analytical skills.
• Effective facilitation skills, including the design and coordination of impactful trainings, workshops, and meetings with varied participants.
• Experience in the design and management of large-scale studies, including assessments, baselines, and evaluations.
• Background in conducting field research and/or field-based data collection.
• Proven experience in data collection, statistical analysis, and reporting, with proficiency in statistical software and databases such as Epi Info, Access, STATA, SPSS, SAS, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with GIS mapping and spatial data visualization tools.
• Self-driven with the capability to work both independently and collaboratively as a productive team member.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of management, staff, partners, and the public.
• Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities independently.
• Demonstrated application of Biblical principles and practices in accordance with OB’s nonprofit Christian mission.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to 40% of the year.
