This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +5 more states.
• Create and implement sales strategies to meet revenue objectives for Agendia oncology services and franchise products such as MammaPrint and BluePrint.
• Identify, target, educate, and oversee hospitals, pathology groups, oncologists, surgeons, and other accounts within the designated territory.
• Analyze the prescribing and purchasing decision-making processes in the territory and how they differ from national trends.
• Drive new business in oncology, maintain customer relationships, and surpass sales goals.
• Meet sales forecasts and objectives.
• Organize and facilitate meetings for the exchange of medical and product information in accordance with company policies and regulations.
• Represent Agendia at trade shows and participate in company meetings, training programs, and other events.
• Modify call plans and business strategies to adapt to changing work conditions.
• Identify key physicians, healthcare providers, organizations, and high-value prospects within the territory.
• Support the company’s sales strategy while promoting a collaborative team environment.
• Travel independently throughout the territory to enhance oncology sales.
• Develop and nurture relationships with Key Opinion Leaders.
• Communicate business opportunities and challenges to the Regional Sales Director.
• Maintain customer and target databases in Salesforce (SFDC).
• Present at quarterly sales meetings.
• Collaborate with marketing on regional market dynamics, competitive challenges, and new testing opportunities.
• Provide guidance on test report orientation at the request of clinicians without making specific patient-management or treatment recommendations.
• Complete administrative tasks, including expense reports, call reports, and communications, accurately and on schedule.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or required.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree is highly preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in field sales within diagnostics, oncology, lab services, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or a similar industry.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant concepts and practices, with the ability to apply them in various business contexts.
• Experience in developing and executing achievable business plans.
• Ability to build relationships with physicians, thought leaders, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Proven success in consistently meeting or exceeding financial, quantitative, and qualitative targets.
• Effective and professional communication skills with organizational members, customers, and external contacts.
• Willingness to travel, including overnight stays and attendance at some weekend events.
• Ability to translate scientific information regarding products, competitors, science, and the marketplace for Oncology clients.
• Must reside within the assigned territory/geography.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Strong organizational skills and capability to perform multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds without assistance.
• Capability to work on a computer for approximately 6–8 hours each day.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% to fulfill territorial requirements.
• Must not be an excluded individual barred from participating in any Federal healthcare program.
• Starting compensation includes a base salary plus commission.
• Travel and participation in company meetings, training programs, conferences, trade shows, and other events as required.
