Modern Work Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design and implement AI-ready M365 foundations through comprehensive discovery, design, deployment, and adoption processes for mid-market and enterprise clients.

• Establish a secure, governed, and scalable framework for agentic AI, ensuring that M365 environments are prepared for production use with Copilot, agents, and enterprise-scale AI.

• Create a secure and governed M365 tenant identity, along with data governance, compliance, and collaboration structures that facilitate enterprise AI adoption.

• Act as the key technical authority and trusted advisor on M365 architecture and AI readiness strategies for IT and business stakeholders within customer organizations.

• Oversee rollout sequencing, pilot programs, change management efforts, training initiatives, and post-launch enablement activities.

• Mentor engineers and consultants working alongside you in project delivery.

• Participate in presales activities, including proposals and statements of work.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience delivering Microsoft 365 solutions in consulting or enterprise settings.

• Comprehensive understanding of the entire M365 tenant, including Entra ID, Intune, Purview, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams, along with their interconnections.

• Practical expertise in identity and access management (Entra ID, Conditional Access), device management (Intune, Defender for Endpoint), and Microsoft 365 licensing.

• Proven experience in leading adoption initiatives, including governance, champion networks, training, and change management.

• Ability to effectively communicate M365 architecture to executive and IT stakeholders, while also being capable of configuring it independently.

• Familiarity with Purview (Information Protection, DLP) and migration tools/PowerShell.

• Preferred qualifications include Microsoft certifications such as M365 Administrator Expert and Endpoint Administrator Associate.

• Experience with Microsoft-funded or time-sensitive migration projects.

• Background in mentoring engineers or leading small delivery teams.

• Proven experience working with mid-market or enterprise clients under strict deadlines.
