Mobile Vehicle Condition Inspector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Execute comprehensive vehicle evaluations following Manheim inspection guidelines.

• Identify, start, move, assess, and safely return vehicles on dealer client premises.

• Confirm vehicle identification, VINs, mileage, sub‑series, and options; ensure precise system data entry.

• Evaluate and record the condition of the vehicle's exterior, including tires, frame, glass, panels, and mechanical parts.

• Assess and document the interior condition, including seating, dashboard, and installed features.

• Carry out basic mechanical assessments of powertrain, drivetrain, and electrical systems.

• Detect and record any damage, missing parts, or non-functional features.

• Establish trust with dealer clients through consistent quality, professionalism, and timely responses.

• Inform clients about the advantages of Manheim Marketplace and mobile inspection offerings.

• Actively engage with dealers to boost inspection volume and ensure ongoing participation.

• Compile and present daily activity and production reports.

• Work closely with Wholesale Specialists, colleagues, and other Manheim teams to foster client success.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is essential.

• Basic knowledge of automotive principles is preferred (both body and mechanical).

• Experience in the automotive field (0–1 years) is preferred.

• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is mandatory.

• Capability to fulfill the physical and mental requirements of the role within specified timeframes.
