Mobile Software Engineer – iOS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Design and develop next-generation features for the Olo application while realizing the post-MVP vision.

• Collect feedback from an expanding user base and address reported issues.

• Assist in planning the app feature roadmap.

• Contribute insights into the direction of both iOS and Android codebases.

• Exhibit a thorough understanding of the team’s domain and technology stack.

• Manage small to medium features autonomously and take charge of moderately complex tasks.

• Produce clean, maintainable code and engage in peer code reviews.

• Collaborate with the Product team to refine requirements and develop effective solutions.

• Deliver high-quality software within set deadlines.

• Diagnose and debug common and moderately complex issues effectively.

• Assist with the deployment and monitoring of services, as well as production troubleshooting.

• Develop and maintain dependable distributed systems with suitable resilience mechanisms.

• Participate in team ceremonies and assist in removing obstacles for others.

• Utilize Claude Code throughout daily workflows and enhance the delivery pipeline.

• Engage in on-call responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on native mobile development.

• Expertise in native iOS mobile development using Swift.

• Capability to independently implement moderately complex features and algorithms.

• Familiarity with version control tools such as GitHub.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, specifically GitHub Actions.

• Proficiency in writing and maintaining unit tests.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and collaboration skills.

• Experience in communicating technical details to team members, product managers, and stakeholders.

• Active participation in on-call duties is mandatory.
