Mobile Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the user experience for both iOS and Android mobile applications, including guiding the adaptation of desktop functionalities for mobile platforms.

• Collaborate closely with mobile engineers and product leaders to initiate and complete mobile-centric projects without any hand-offs.

• Redesign or enhance key screens and workflows, addressing minor quality issues and “paper cuts” along the way.

• Develop mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals to effectively communicate ideas and outline execution plans.

• Mentor and motivate fellow designers through collaborative critiques across both mobile and desktop platforms.

• Utilize and enhance lightweight design system components.

• Assist in recruiting new team members who can elevate the overall team and product quality.

• Contribute to projects throughout their lifecycle within small, self-sufficient project teams.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software design, with a focus on mobile applications.

• Strong design capabilities.

• Excellent product insight.

• Ability to participate in technical discussions.

• Willingness to ask questions, experiment, and advocate for your beliefs.

• Openness to feedback, adaptability in thinking, and a commitment to iterating toward optimal solutions.

• Experience in prototyping directly in code or using tools like Figma, Origami, etc.

• Capability to distill challenges and feedback into clear, actionable solutions.

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
