Mobile Platform Engineer – Android, Active Secret

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and create components for Android applications and automation frameworks to support scalable, multi-platform content distribution.

• Architect and oversee a hybrid cloud/physical mobile infrastructure, which includes managing Android emulation and a fleet of physical devices.

• Develop middleware for anti-detection and ensure platform compliance.

• Construct and support API gateway services for platforms like X, TikTok, Instagram, Telegram, Facebook, and other emerging platforms.

• Design systems for synthetic identity lifecycle management, encompassing account creation, behavioral pattern engines, authenticity scoring, and automation for persona maintenance.

• Create content scheduling and queue management systems that include platform-specific formatting and rate limiting.

• Implement infrastructure for residential proxies, VPNs, DNS obfuscation, and IP rotation.

• Integrate mobile platform functionalities with Peraton's IRIS platform and the Peraton[x] agentic AI workflows.

• Conduct research on platform security, device attestation, and methods for emulator detection.

• Generate technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational manuals.

• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, infrastructure experts, and mission analysts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mobile Computing, or a related technical field with over 5 years of professional experience; or a Master's degree with more than 3 years of experience.

• Expertise in Android application development using Java and/or Kotlin, along with proficiency in Android SDK, Android Studio, and ADB.

• Experience with Android emulation technologies and an understanding of Android system internals.

• Proficiency in Python for automation scripting, API integration, and system orchestration.

• Experience with RESTful API design and integration, OAuth flows, rate limiting, and architectures involving multi-service gateways.

• Familiarity with proxy management, VPN setup, DNS management, and traffic routing.

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP for scalable virtualized mobile environments.

• Understanding of MDM, device provisioning, and fleet orchestration.

• U.S. citizenship is required.

• Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a final TS/SCI clearance.

• A valid U.S. passport or the capability to obtain one.

• Preferred qualifications include knowledge of mobile and browser fingerprinting, device attestation, social media APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, SIM management, telephony APIs, behavioral automation, residential proxy networks, iOS development and automation, DoD information operations, CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible, and machine learning concepts.

• Active TS/SCI clearance is preferred.
