Mobile Electrical Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive tasks both during and outside of standard hours (normal working hours 08:30 – 17:00).

• Ensure that the contractual obligations efficiently meet all relevant KPIs and SLAs.

• Acquire materials in collaboration with the Lead Engineer or Assistant Contract Delivery Manager.

• Be available to respond to or manage critical call-outs and prepare written reports as needed, including formulating quotes for necessary remedial work.

• Ensure timely annual testing of tools and equipment is maintained.

• Participate in initiatives aimed at continuous improvement.

• Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for effective contract delivery.

• Comply with health and safety regulations, corporate policies, and industry standards.

• Assist in the preparation of quotes as required.

• Complete PPM tasks and associated reporting.

• Use facilities management software to complete and upload worksheets immediately after job completion on the same day.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of City & Guilds electrical qualification.

• 18th Edition Electrical Testing & Inspection certification.

• Desirable: A solid understanding of electrical services.

• Strong administrative and organizational skills.

• Capability to develop a comprehensive understanding of customer business needs.

• Initiative and a proactive attitude towards all tasks.

• High standard of workmanship and attention to detail.

• Conscientious and reliable team player.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Commitment to delivering high-quality service and willingness to work flexibly.

• Availability for overtime as necessary.

• Mechanical experience is desirable but not mandatory.

• Proficient knowledge of tablet applications.

• Experience in a commercial environment.

• A valid UK Driving Licence is essential.
