Mobile Developer Specialist – Java/Kotlin

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Act as the technical authority for the mobile development team, aiding in decision-making and clarifying complex inquiries.

• Create new features by leveraging strong architecture and adhering to best practices within the Android ecosystem.

• Explore critical production issues, identifying root causes using tools like Logcat and Crashlytics.

• Collaborate with the Tech Lead and clients to recognize technical risks and suggest mitigating strategies.

• Record architectural choices and significant trade-offs to maintain technical traceability.

• Assign operational responsibilities to junior team members, fostering their growth and independence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Kotlin (modular organization, appropriate use of data classes/classes/enums, and best practices).

• Familiarity with modern MVVM architecture utilizing StateFlow.

• Experience in developing dynamic layouts with Jetpack Compose and/or standard views, implementing a Design System with tokens.

• Ability to create comprehensive unit tests.

• Knowledge of Gradle configuration for modularization, optimized builds, and code protection (ProGuard/R8).

• Skilled in log analysis and diagnostics using Logcat and Crashlytics.

• Experience in implementing Remote Config.

• Advanced knowledge of version control (Git), including conventional commits, cherry-pick, and squash.

• Competence in secure artifact publishing and CI/CD pipeline automation.
