Mobile Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Georgia.

📋 Description

• Design, enhance, and manage mobile functionalities, focusing mainly on Android, encompassing trading, investing, account management, onboarding, payments, documentation, notifications, and user preferences.

• Construct dependable Android user interfaces utilizing Android Views/Fragments and Jetpack Compose when suitable.

• Collaborate with ViewModels, coroutines, Flow, use cases, gateways/repositories, ensuring a clear distinction between presentation, domain, and data layers.

• Incorporate and sustain backend communication utilizing Retrofit, OkHttp, Kotlin Serialization, and associated networking tools.

• Execute local data persistence and background operations using Room, DataStore, Paging, WorkManager, and lifecycle-aware APIs.

• Maintain connections with Firebase, analytics, crash reporting, push notifications, feature flags, payment/KYC providers, and customer engagement SDKs.

• Develop and uphold unit tests and Android-specific tests, enhancing coverage for critical business and user processes.

• Analyze crashes, performance challenges, logging, analytics events, and production issues.

• Work together with iOS developers as necessary to synchronize user flows, business logic, analytics events, and release processes across platforms.

• Engage in code reviews, technical discussions, feature planning, release preparations, and enhancements to CI/CD processes.

• Collaborate closely with product, backend, QA, design, compliance, and analytics teams.

• Ensure the codebase remains maintainable by adhering to established project standards, minimizing unnecessary refactoring, and implementing small, secure, well-tested modifications.

• Strong practical experience with Android development.

• Interest or experience in broader mobile development.

• Proven experience in developing and maintaining production Android applications, preferably within fintech, trading, banking, payments, or other domains that prioritize reliability.
