Mobile Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain Android applications and plugins for the Android Team Awareness Kit (ATAK) along with associated TAK ecosystem products.

• Incorporate Cursor-on-Target (CoT) messaging, mapping overlays, and situational-awareness functionalities into mobile applications.

• Write, test, and troubleshoot code that supports TAK Server API integrations.

• Engage with customers and end users to convert requirements into operational software features.

• Deliver customer-facing production code from the very first day.

• Work remotely as part of an established team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in native Android development using Java and/or Kotlin.

• 1–3 years of experience with source control systems such as Git.

• Familiarity with ATAK plugin development or the wider TAK ecosystem (including TAK Server, CoT messaging, WinTAK/iTAK).

• Capability to produce customer-facing production code from day one.

• Must possess US work authorization that does not currently or in the future require visa sponsorship.

• Secret clearance level is required.
