This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• Develop, maintain, and modify Playwright test suites for the iOS and Android driver application, including during the upcoming comprehensive app revamp.
• Implement structured testing plans, comprising manual regression testing, to ensure release quality prior to and during the automation buildout.
• Identify and rectify flaky tests, differentiating between test-execution challenges and genuine engineering defects.
• Manage and execute parallelized test suites using BrowserStack and GitHub Actions to optimize execution times.
• Document results in TestRail.
• Evaluate existing manual tests before transitioning coverage to automation.
• Understand how interconnected systems operate, including driver accounts, order settings, and device conditions, to design regression coverage for real-world variability.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and leadership to grasp requirements and ensure thorough test coverage.
• Identify, document, and monitor software defects utilizing issue tracking tools.
• Engage in code reviews and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the QA process.
• Investigate and implement AI-driven testing tools to improve automation efficiency and accuracy.
• Analyze test outcomes and deliver clear, actionable insights to the development team.
• 3–5 years of experience in QA/test automation; equivalent practical experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree (a bachelor's degree is not mandatory).
• Practical experience in testing native mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.
• Proficiency with Playwright.
• Familiarity with TestFlight.
• Experience using the TestRail platform.
• Capability to run parallelized test suites.
• Strong aptitude for troubleshooting flaky tests and differentiating engineering issues from test-execution problems.
• Ability to swiftly learn how interconnected systems operate, encompassing accounts, permissions, order settings, and device conditions, to design comprehensive test coverage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Availability to overlap with the team’s morning ET sync meeting.
• Nice to have: experience with Python, Java, or other programming languages; familiarity with mobile applications and AI-driven automation tools; manual testing prior to automation; knowledge of APIs and SQL; and familiarity with Angular.
