AI Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create and develop the agent orchestration layer, which includes workflow states, event-driven agent execution, and next-best-action logic.

• Incorporate LLMs behind a provider-agnostic framework utilizing Anthropic, OpenAI, and Writer.ai, ensuring structured outputs, tool-calling, retries, and model routing.

• Convert documents, transcripts, and records into structured and reliable data.

• Establish human-in-the-loop approval workflows.

• Implement evaluation and tuning loops to enhance agent behavior based on evidence.

• Collaborate with frontend teams, product managers, and client stakeholders to deliver complete solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in developing LLM-powered or agentic applications, with a focus on tool-calling, structured output, RAG, and prompt iteration.

• Over 5 years of experience in delivering production software.

• Strong engineering background; familiarity with TypeScript/Node is essential, while Python and other ecosystems are also welcome.

• Knowledge of orchestration frameworks like LangGraph.js, Vercel AI SDK, or Mastra.

• Experience with provider SDKs such as Anthropic and OpenAI.

• Proven experience in designing scalable systems on AWS.

• Demonstrated ability to work with unstructured data, including parsing, extraction, and validation.

• Evaluation-driven mindset for measuring agent quality and iterating based on results.

• Excellent English communication skills.

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, agile consulting environment.

• Additional advantage: experience in regulated or high-stakes environments, LLM evaluation harnesses, voice or transcript processing, document-intensive workflows, Next.js, Writer.ai, or contributions to open-source agent projects.
