Software Test Analyst – Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Ensure the efficient execution of scheduled tests to uncover any issues, defects, and bugs.

• Engage in planning meetings and actively contribute to the establishment of acceptance criteria.

• Create test plans tailored to the specific characteristics and requirements of each project.

• Develop work instructions and standards for acceptance criteria.

• Oversee test management tools and establish strategies for their use.

• Evaluate the testability of functional specifications and recommend enhancements.

• Author test cases aligned with acceptance criteria.

• Test features after reviewing specifications and related documents.

• Perform manual or automated tests to identify necessary modifications.

• Document identified defects for rectification.

• Plan and execute usability tests with end users, producing detailed reports.

• Generate reports containing test evidence.

• Suggest improvements to processes and client deliverables.

• Provide guidance and support to colleagues on technical aspects.

• Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) and the deployment of software in client environments.

• Deliver training and knowledge transfer to clients regarding the developed software.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is preferred, ideally in fields such as Computer Science, Engineering, Development, or Software Engineering.

• Certification is not mandatory.

• Experience with test automation tools, including Selenium, Appium, JUnit, and TestNG.

• Proficiency in the languages and technologies utilized in the working environment.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.

• Capability to work efficiently within agile teams.

• Experience in planning, designing, and executing both manual and automated software tests.

• Understanding of the test lifecycle management process, encompassing planning, execution, and result reporting.
