This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Spearhead the design and implementation of internal AI agents and automation workflows utilizing frameworks such as Snowflake Cortex, LangChain, LangGraph, or similar technologies.
• Create reusable tools, APIs, and components for agentic workflows.
• Oversee retrieval-augmented generation workflows, context management strategies, and prompt patterns.
• Develop evaluation harnesses, regression tests, monitoring patterns, and reliability metrics for AI agents.
• Set guidelines and validation frameworks to minimize hallucinations, unsafe outputs, and unreliable automation.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to transition AI workflows from prototypes to production.
• Manage production-grade Python applications, libraries, and services.
• Advocate for object-oriented design, modular design, automated testing, CI/CD, code reviews, observability, and thorough documentation.
• Propel reusable engineering patterns and scalable technical solutions in conjunction with product, engineering, operations, and data platform teams.
• Lead the development of reusable Python libraries catering to clean room audience workflows and measurement use cases.
• Transform analytical and data collaboration workflows into repeatable, self-service components.
• Facilitate configurable feature deployment across partner organizations.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing software and AI engineering team.
• Guide engineers through code reviews, technical design discussions, and operational best practices.
• Set engineering standards for AI-assisted workflows, agentic system design, reusable libraries, and production automation.
• Foster reliability, maintainability, and ongoing improvement.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Proven experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams.
• Extensive hands-on experience in building production-grade software using Python, including libraries, services, testing, CI/CD, and code reviews.
• Practical experience in developing applications utilizing LLMs, RAG, vector databases, prompt engineering, Snowflake Cortex, LangChain, LangGraph, or similar tools.
• Experience in designing AI-enabled workflows, reasoning agents, tool-using agents, or complex automation systems.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar technologies.
• Strong comprehension of production system design, including observability, reliability, scalability, performance tuning, and operational support.
• Familiarity with data clean room concepts or platforms like Snowflake Clean Rooms, Databricks Clean Rooms, and LiveRamp/Habu.
• Background in advertising technology, audience activation, campaign delivery, reach and frequency, attribution, incrementality, or reporting workflows.
• Preferred certifications include Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification, Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate, or similar cloud/data platform certifications.
