MLOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• You will take full ownership of the end-to-end production of our machine learning initiatives: ensuring real-time service against SLAs, establishing a standardized CI/CD pathway to production, deploying GenAI and RAG systems, and implementing the monitoring infrastructure that detects drift and quality degradation prior to any impact on business KPIs.

• You will work within a GCP-native environment — utilizing Vertex AI, BigQuery, dbt, Airflow, and Terraform — addressing significant challenges from day one, while having the freedom to influence the growth of the function and the selection of future team members.

• You will closely collaborate with Data Scientists, Platform, and Engineering teams, serving as both a technical leader and an advocate for Data Science requirements throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• A proven history of deploying models into production in collaboration with Data Scientists — whether in classic ML, LLM/GenAI, or both.

• In-depth knowledge of the ML lifecycle from prototype to production, which includes real-time serving, feature stores, autoscaling, and blue/green deployments.

• Proficient in Python and SQL.

• Practical experience with GCP, particularly with Vertex AI, Kubeflow pipelines, and BigQuery — or strong proficiency in an equivalent cloud platform with a demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to Vertex.

• Comprehensive CI/CD and production-monitoring experience, encompassing model registries, versioning, drift detection, and automated retraining.

• At a minimum, we require conversational-level proficiency in English. English is the primary language of our company and is utilized for all business communications.
