MLOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Design and implement scalable inference and serving systems tailored for machine learning workloads.

• Develop and sustain automated data, training, and inference pipelines.

• Construct and oversee CI/CD pipelines for application testing, validation, and deployment.

• Monitor and uphold deployed APIs to guarantee performance, reliability, and security.

• Create and manage internal platforms for configuring and overseeing machine learning systems in production.

• Develop observability dashboards and alerting mechanisms to monitor model and infrastructure health.

• Implement unit and integration tests for machine learning code, pipelines, and deployment processes.

• Adhere to security best practices in containerized deployments and data management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Strong proficiency in Python with robust software architecture and development capabilities.

• In-depth expertise in cloud platforms, preferably Azure, for designing scalable and reliable machine learning systems.

• Solid understanding of version control systems, package management, and dependency tracking.

• Proficient in containerization with Docker for scalable and maintainable system deployments.

• Experience in monitoring, logging, and alerting for machine learning systems and infrastructure.

• Familiarity with fundamental machine learning concepts and algorithms.

• Proven track record in deploying and managing machine learning models in production settings.

• Understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
