ML Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

• Enhance the decision-making process for tools utilized by the tvScientific AI team, spanning our workflows, training infrastructure, and Kubernetes deployments.

• Elevate the developer experience for the data science team.

• Upgrade our observability tools.

• Ensure each deployment is seamless as our infrastructure continues to evolve.

⛳️ Requirements

• Profound knowledge of Linux.

• Exceptional writing abilities.

• A systems-focused mindset.

• Experience with high-performance software (RTB, HFT, etc.).

• Background in software engineering along with expertise in reliability (e.g., CI/CD).

• Strong instincts for observability.

• Proven capability to leverage AI to enhance speed and quality in your daily workflow for relevant outputs.

• Solid history of critically evaluating and verifying AI-assisted work (e.g., testing, source-checking, data validation, peer review).

• High integrity and accountability: you safeguard sensitive data, avoid excessive reliance on AI, and remain responsible for final decisions and deliverables.

• Nice-To-Haves:

• Experience in reverse engineering.

• Familiarity with Terraform, EKS, or MLOps.

• Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Zig.

• Experience with NixOS.

• Background in Adtech or CTV.

• Experience deploying distributed systems across multiple cloud environments.

• Experience in hard real-time low-latency (<10 ms) environments.
