This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Acquire a thorough understanding of Defense Unicorns products and capabilities, which include UDS, Fleet, Zarf, and associated platform technologies.

• Convert customer specifications, mission requirements, and operational challenges into actionable tasks and delivery plans.

• Coordinate the execution across engineering teams to facilitate the successful delivery of customer outcomes.

• Assist in managing the backlog, planning sprints, prioritizing tasks, and tracking delivery activities.

• Collaborate directly with Army stakeholders to comprehend mission objectives, collect requirements, and convey progress updates.

• Clearly communicate technical concepts and solution capabilities to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Support demonstrations, technical workshops, and customer interactions.

• Aid senior mission managers in identifying customer challenges, future capability needs, and opportunities for enhanced support.

• Monitor delivery risks, dependencies, and issues while assisting in the coordination of mitigation strategies.

• Partner with technical leads, architects, and engineers to ensure that solutions meet customer requirements and adhere to engineering best practices.

• Provide technical input for proposals, technical responses, white papers, and ROM development efforts.

• Facilitate the onboarding and mentoring of new team members.

• Engage in hiring activities, candidate interviews, and team-building initiatives.

• Help uphold a high standard of engineering quality, customer satisfaction, and effective mission execution.


⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience with the Army as a Military member, Government Civilian, or contractor supporting Army programs.

• Experience working within Department of Defense organizations or programs.

• Proven ability to foster relationships with government stakeholders and mission partners.

• Experience in delivering software, cloud, platform, cybersecurity, or DevSecOps solutions.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes, cloud-native technologies, DevSecOps practices, or contemporary software delivery concepts.

• Experience in gathering requirements and transforming customer needs into technical solutions.

• Experience in coordinating work among technical teams and stakeholders.

• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies, backlog management, and sprint planning.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience in supporting customer demonstrations, technical workshops, or proof-of-concept initiatives.

• Active Secret Clearance is required; Top Secret is preferred.
