This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Act as the primary in-person representative for the program throughout the western United States, traveling frequently to installations, recruitment events, and functions related to the military, with a strong focus on California.
• Enhance the program's visibility on social media and professional networking platforms by creating engaging content tailored to the audience.
• Establish and expand partnerships and referral networks with TAP offices, command and installation contacts, National Guard units, and organizations that serve veterans.
• Conduct briefings and information sessions, assisting applicants through a supportive and organized admissions process.
• Maintain up-to-date applicant and pipeline records in Salesforce and monitor recruitment metrics to enhance outreach efforts.
• Possess two or more years of experience in recruitment, admissions, outreach, or workforce development.
• Have experience working with active-duty service members, veterans, or military-connected communities.
• Demonstrate skills in creating engaging social media content for targeted audiences, or show a strong aptitude for such tasks.
• Communicate effectively and persuasively, whether in one-on-one discussions or large group presentations.
• Be organized, self-motivated, comfortable using CRM tools (Salesforce preferred), and willing to travel frequently.
• Preferred but not required: Previous military service or experience as a military recruiter.
• Ability to independently access military installations (for instance, as a retiree, current military spouse or dependent, or eligible veteran).
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or knowledge of DoW SkillBridge, Transition Assistance Programs (TAP), or similar transition initiatives.
