Migration Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Complete the onboarding training program in Notion and familiarize yourself with Kit’s product ecosystem.

• Utilize Arrows, Slack, HubSpot, and various other tools.

• Review migration Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and reference materials.

• Transition new Kit customers onto the Kit platform.

• Execute CSV imports, rebuild forms and landing pages, and recreate automations.

• Oversee migrations that involve visual automations, sequences, email templates, integrations, and warm-up strategies.

• Collaborate with the Implementations Team, Migration Administrators, fellow Migration Specialists, and Customer Support.

• Communicate effectively with creators through written and verbal methods, including Zoom and Loom walkthroughs.

• Manage multiple ongoing client projects and their respective timelines.

• Identify unresponsive creators, at-risk timelines, and instances of scope creep.

• Ensure the accuracy of data mapping, deliverability, and quality assurance throughout the migration process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient understanding of Kit’s Visual Automation builder, forms/landing pages, tagging, sequences, and basic API v4 knowledge.

• Experience handling CSV data and mapping subscribers/tags across various source platforms.

• Knowledge of deliverability principles, including domain authentication, send-history evaluation, and warm-up strategies.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills when interacting with creators.

• Comfortable using Zoom and Loom for walkthroughs.

• Familiarity with various Email Service Provider (ESP) platforms, such as Kajabi, Beehiiv, ActiveCampaign, Flodesk, Substack, GoHighLevel, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or Infusionsoft/Keap.

• Ability to work asynchronously across Arrows, Slack, and email.

• Previous experience with email marketing platform migrations or technical onboarding processes.

• Experience managing multiple simultaneous client projects with distinct timelines.

• Background in supporting technically complex accounts with multiple integrations, custom automations, or large subscriber lists.

• Experience working directly with creators or small businesses on customer-facing technical tasks.

• Comfort with project-based or contract work and invoicing procedures.

• Proactive, detail-oriented, empathetic, reliable, and self-managing approach.

• Capability to handle concurrent projects without significant day-to-day supervision.

• Ability to set and enforce deadlines with non-technical or unresponsive clients.

• Consistent availability for milestone-based project work.
