MiFID & Consumer Duty Specialist – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assist in the advancement of the MiFID and Consumer Duty initiatives

• Evaluate, revise, and create policies, frameworks, and written programs

• Aid in the development and enhancement of regulatory controls

• Offer subject matter expertise regarding MiFID and Consumer Duty obligations

• Facilitate governance, oversight, and alignment with regulatory activities

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to integrate improvements into business-as-usual processes

• Generate clear documentation suitable for regulatory purposes as needed

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in the Financial Services sector

• Strong, proven expertise in:

• MiFID

• Consumer Duty

• Background in Compliance Advisory, Regulatory Change, Risk, or Consulting

• Demonstrated experience in enhancing or implementing regulatory programs

• Comfortable in a hands-on delivery capacity

• Ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders

• Prior contract or consulting experience

• Familiarity with FCA reviews, regulatory remediation, or internal audit findings

• Experience in designing or testing regulatory controls

• Extensive exposure to various financial services (banking, wealth management, payments, or investment firms)
