Mid/Senior-level Data Engineer – GoLang

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and manage comprehensive batch and incremental ETL/ELT pipelines.

• Transform raw data into production-ready APIs, dashboards, and automated notification systems.

• Acquire high-throughput data from various sources including relational databases, third-party and vendor APIs, flat files, blockchain nodes and indexers, as well as social and web text at scale.

• Create NLP pipelines for tasks such as entity and claim extraction, classification, deduplication, and enrichment of unstructured and semi-structured text data.

• Assist with case management, report generation, and data systems for the intelligence portal.

• Collaborate with the Head of R&D, engineers, data scientists, and investigation teams to translate intelligence needs into scalable products for clients.

• Contribute to the technical design and architecture by engaging in a documented and reasoned design process.

• Enhance system data quality and maintenance through versioning, validation, lineage tracking, reconciliation, and monitoring freshness.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in developing backend services using Golang.

• Strong understanding of Go fundamentals, including concurrency and testing.

• Proficiency with REST APIs and/or gRPC.

• Experience working within AWS environments.

• Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS.

• Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL.

• Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Redis, or DynamoDB.

• Understanding of microservices and distributed systems.

• Proficient in using Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with Terraform.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes.

• Understanding of observability tools and best practices.
