This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities for CMMC readiness, remediation, and Microsoft 365 GCC/GCC High and Azure implementation initiatives.
• Market and enhance managed services (MSP/MSSP) contracts and Microsoft licensing, incorporating recurring services that align with CMMC and ongoing compliance needs.
• Target regulated sectors such as government contractors, healthcare, manufacturing, AEC, and financial services.
• Manage the entire sales process from initial discovery and scoping to proposal, negotiation, and closing.
• Utilize and expand a network of Microsoft field sellers and partner teams to build a strong pipeline.
• Keep an accurate and well-organized pipeline and forecast using Autotask (or a comparable PSA/CRM).
• 5–7+ years of experience in B2B technology sales with a quota-carrying background.
• Demonstrated hunter mindset with a successful history of generating and closing new-logo business; comfortable operating in a 70% hunting / 30% account management model.
• Experience selling to government contractors and commercial regulated clients (healthcare, manufacturing, AEC, financial services) with a focus on security and compliance initiatives.
• Knowledge of CMMC, NIST 800-171, DFARS, and Microsoft 365 GCC/GCC High.
• Background working for or with an MSP/MSSP and utilizing platforms such as Autotask or similar PSAs/CRMs.
• Established or potentially developable relationships with Microsoft field sellers, PDMs, or CSAs, along with experience in co-selling activities.
• Strong consultative selling, discovery, and scoping abilities; capable of collaborating effectively with technical and delivery teams.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with comfort in presenting to C-level and technical audiences.
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment while consistently meeting or exceeding quota.
