Mid/Senior AI Engineer, Networking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Developing tools similar to MCP that provide network device APIs and CLI commands with comprehensive descriptions, structured inputs/outputs, validation logic, and error handling.

• Overseeing tool metadata and facilitating semantic search across available tools utilizing a vector database.

• Generating exemplary user queries, anticipated responses, and query variations for particular tools, intents, and network-operation scenarios.

• Constructing automated tests to ensure accurate tool selection, parameterization, output formatting, and overall agent responses.

• Designing evaluation processes that integrate deterministic checks, human reviews, and LLM-as-a-judge methodologies.

• Enhancing prompts, tool descriptions, schemas, and agent workflows while tracking regressions with the introduction of new tools or modifications.

• Producing production-quality Python code and accompanying tests.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with LLM-driven workflows, agentic frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph, and tool-calling methodologies.

• Background in designing structured tools with precise descriptions, input/output schemas, validation logic, and integration with external APIs or command-line systems.

• Familiarity with semantic search, vector databases, RAG patterns, prompt engineering, and structured outputs from LLMs.

• Experience in crafting exemplary queries, automated testing, regression evaluations, and chatbot/agent response assessments, including LLM-as-a-judge techniques.

• Proven track record in developing production-quality Python code, encompassing automated tests and maintainable integration logic.

• CCNA certification or equivalent knowledge, with an understanding of networking platforms, device commands, and troubleshooting techniques.

• Proficiency in English at a minimum B2 level, with C1 or C2 preferred.
