Middleware Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Administration and Support: Oversee essential middleware platforms including WebSphere, Keycloak, OUD, and BPM.

• Technical Operations: Execute deployments, carry out performance tuning, and promptly address critical incidents in production settings.

• Integration and APIs: Maintain high performance and availability of integration services, APIs (REST/SOAP), and enterprise messaging solutions.

• Automation and DevOps: Streamline operational tasks and create efficient CI/CD pipelines to enhance delivery processes.

• Observability: Actively monitor the health of middleware environments utilizing tools such as Dynatrace and Zabbix.

• Governance and Security: Adhere strictly to security, audit, and data protection regulations (LGPD), while collaborating closely with Infrastructure, DBA, Networking, and Information Security teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience managing application servers (WebSphere, JBoss, and Tomcat) on both Linux and Windows platforms.

• Practical knowledge of Java application architecture (Spring Framework, JPA, Hibernate) and development/testing tools (JUnit, performance diagnostics).

• Expertise in integration and messaging protocols: REST/SOAP APIs, XML/JSON, IBM MQ (MQSeries), and ActiveMQ.

• Understanding of security, authentication, and Single Sign-On (SSO) utilizing Keycloak, OUD, OIDC, and SAML.

• Hands-on experience in designing CI/CD pipelines, scripting automation, and a foundational understanding of containers (Kubernetes or OpenShift).

• Familiarity with IBM solutions, particularly IBM API Connect, is preferred.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related disciplines is required.

• Differentiators: Previous experience in migrating monolithic systems to Kubernetes/OpenShift architectures; expertise with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar; relevant certifications (ITIL, JBoss, OpenShift, WebSphere, or security/LGPD-related certifications like ISO 27001).
