Middle/Senior Go Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable backend services utilizing Go.

• Create and maintain REST and gRPC APIs.

• Develop event-driven integrations leveraging Kafka and/or RabbitMQ.

• Collaborate with PostgreSQL and enhance database interactions.

• Assume responsibility for services across the entire lifecycle, from design and implementation to deployment and production support.

• Ensure system scalability, high availability, reliability, and optimal performance.

• Write and uphold backend tests.

• Monitor and resolve service issues using Grafana and Prometheus.

• Work in collaboration with distributed international teams in an Agile/Scrum setting.

• Contribute to the implementation of AI-driven functionality wherever applicable.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4+ years of overall professional software development experience.

• 2+ years of production experience with Golang.

• Strong grasp of Go concurrency, including goroutines and channels.

• Experience with microservice architecture.

• Practical experience with gRPC and REST APIs.

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL.

• Experience with Kafka and/or RabbitMQ.

• Proficiency with Docker.

• Understanding of scalability, high availability, and reliability in backend systems.

• Experience with backend testing.

• Knowledge of Grafana and Prometheus.

• English proficiency: B2 or higher.

• **Nice to have:**

• 3+ years of production experience with Go.

• Background in fintech, banking, or insurance projects.

• Experience in designing backend architecture.

• Familiarity with AI integrations.

• Experience managing services from initial design through to production support.
