Middle School Physical Education Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Complete grading and generate progress reports.

• Facilitate parent conferences.

• Assist instructional programs through asynchronous web conferencing and live instruction.

• Analyze curriculum and create alternative lesson strategies.

• Maintain regular communication with parents, students, teachers, curriculum specialists, and staff.

• Create and update Personal Learning Plans and schedules.

• Evaluate assessments and provide constructive feedback on student assignments.

• Recommend instructional strategies and oversee the completion of assignments.

• Mentor special projects and offer support with daily tasks.

• Collaborate with teachers to enhance student progress and manage parent communication.

• Acquire in-depth knowledge of assigned courses and a broad understanding of the K-12 curriculum.

• Keep current student records, cumulative files, attendance logs, and contact documentation.

• Design enrichment activities and adapt program modifications.

• Establish and nurture a virtual school community.

• Engage in the organization and administration of state testing.

• Partner with Advisory Teachers and School Counselors to assist students and families.

• Participate in field trips and community events.

• Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be highly qualified and certified to teach Middle School Physical Education in Indiana.

• Must reside in Indiana.

• Strong technology proficiency, particularly with Microsoft OS and MS Office applications.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

• Customer-oriented mindset.

• High level of adaptability.

• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• History of being a collaborative team player.

• Willingness to travel occasionally for marketing and state testing events, which may include overnight travel.

• Capability to work remotely, if required.

• Availability to work occasional evening hours as necessary to assist families.

• Must have access to a personal electronic device and an email address for two-step authentication.
