Middle School Math Interventionist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Engages with the “At-Risk” student demographic to provide targeted remediation aimed at achieving academic objectives.

• Customizes and/or adjusts the K12 curriculum to align with state content standards, catering to the individual needs of each student.

• Works in partnership with general education teachers to fulfill the goals of targeted students through individualized and small group instruction.

• Informs parents about various instructional techniques.

• Guarantees the application of the RTI instructional framework to enhance student success.

• Manages data collection and monitors progress across all tiers.

• Delivers continuous training and support to school and district personnel concerning RTI and the execution of data collection methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree AND

• Active state teaching license AND

• Ability to pass the necessary background check.

• Capability to collaborate with fellow educators to analyze and create numerical, tabular, and graphical representations of student data, utilizing it to inform instructional choices.

• Open to regular coaching sessions with administrators and teacher trainers.

• Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Quick to learn and adapt to new technologies and educational platforms.
