Middle .NET MAUI Developer – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Examine the current codebase, dependencies, and build setups.

• Upgrade the application from .NET MAUI 8 to .NET MAUI 10.

• Fix build and runtime problems on both Android and iOS platforms.

• Detect and resolve compatibility issues within NuGet packages, native integrations, and platform-specific code.

• Work alongside QA to analyze regression outcomes and replicate defects that may have been introduced or highlighted by the upgrade.

• Estimate and execute approved fixes necessary for release readiness.

• Document migration modifications, outstanding issues, technical risks, and prerequisites for release.

• Assist in migrating an additional mobile application if it receives approval.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive commercial experience with C# and .NET MAUI.

• Proven hands-on experience in upgrading existing production applications across major .NET/MAUI versions.

• Experience in building and debugging MAUI applications for both Android and iOS.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting dependency conflicts, build failures, runtime crashes, and platform-specific regressions.

• Experience with mobile application signing, packaging, and preparation for release.

• Capability to evaluate an unfamiliar codebase, identify technical risks, and provide realistic estimates based on code analysis.

• Ability to work autonomously and communicate findings effectively, including distinguishing between a successful build and a release-ready application.

• English proficiency: B2 (Upper-Intermediate) or higher.

• Nice to have: Experience with migrating applications from .NET MAUI 8 to .NET MAUI 10.

• Nice to have: Experience in maintaining applications that have previously been migrated from Xamarin.Forms.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with Azure DevOps and mobile CI/CD pipelines.

• Nice to have: Experience with submissions to the App Store and Google Play.
