Middle DevOps Engineer, Azure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions within Microsoft Azure, encompassing networking (VNETs, Private Endpoints), compute (ACA, ACR, VMs), storage, and security (Entra ID, RBAC, Managed Identities, Key Vault).

• Creating and supporting CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes utilizing Azure DevOps (YAML), TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, and Git (Bitbucket, branching strategies).

• Developing automation and scripting solutions with Python and PowerShell to enhance operational efficiency.

• Overseeing containerization and application deployment through Docker and associated ecosystem tools.

• Implementing and sustaining monitoring, logging, and observability solutions via the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana), Prometheus, Grafana, and data collection tools (Filebeat, Winlogbeat, Telegraf).

• Administering and supporting both Linux and Windows Server environments, including IIS, as well as managing databases (MS SQL Server, MySQL, InfluxDB).

• Collaborating across development and infrastructure teams to enhance platform engineering practices, troubleshoot issues, and consistently improve system reliability and performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering, with a strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure.

• Practical experience with Azure services, including networking (VNETs, Private Endpoints), compute (VMs, Azure Container Apps), storage, and identity/security (Azure AD, RBAC, Managed Identities, Key Vault).

• Extensive experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (YAML).

• Solid experience in containerization employing Docker.

• Advanced knowledge of the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana) for logging, monitoring, and observability purposes.

• Familiarity with modern monitoring tools, such as Prometheus and Grafana.

• Proficient in Python scripting for automation and infrastructure-related tasks.

• Strong understanding of Linux systems and general cloud infrastructure.

• Experience with Git-based workflows (branching strategies, Bitbucket or similar platforms).

• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Nice-to-Have: Familiarity with .NET Core and cloud AI services (Azure AI Foundry).

• Understanding of Amazon Web Services and Databricks.

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (k8s).

• Experience in workflow automation (Camunda 8) and contact center platforms (Genesys Cloud).
