Middle DevOps Engineer – AI-driven

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• **Primary Responsibilities:**

• - Maintain and enhance Linux infrastructure across development, testing, staging, and production environments

• - Configure and optimize CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitLab CI

• - Collaborate with Docker and Docker Compose

• - Establish monitoring and alerting systems using Prometheus, Grafana, and Zabbix

• - Configure web services, reverse proxies, and implement load balancing

• - Automate tasks through scripting and AI tools (generation, optimization, refactoring)

• - Leverage AI for analyzing logs and incidents (enabling quicker diagnosis and root cause analysis)

• - Develop simple automation/AI agents for routine operations and alerting

• - Minimize manual tasks and reduce incident response time

• - Document infrastructure systematically for reuse and AI-powered search capabilities

⛳️ Requirements

• - Over 2 years of experience in DevOps/System Administration

• - Strong understanding of Linux

• - Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS)

• - Practical experience with GitLab CI

• - Familiarity with Docker and Docker Compose

• - Experience working with Prometheus, Grafana, and Zabbix

• - Proficiency in configuring web services and load balancing solutions

• - Experience with PostgreSQL and ClickHouse

• - Skills in scripting and automation (Bash, Python, Ansible)

• - Demonstrated experience using AI tools consistently in daily tasks

• - Ability to write, review, and enhance code/configurations with AI assistance

• - Experience utilizing AI for incident diagnostics and log analysis

• - Capability to swiftly adopt new AI tools and integrate them into existing workflows

• **Preferred Qualifications:**

• - Experience with high-load infrastructure

• - Familiarity with cloud platforms and VPS

• - Background in creating self-healing systems

• - Experience in developing internal automation or AI agents

• We consider AI to be a fundamental engineering tool. Manual work without the support of automation and AI is not the standard.
