Middle Cleanup Animator

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the Lead Animator and internal team to refine motion capture data to a superior standard.

• Enhance and finalize rough animation into production-ready sequences, while maintaining and highlighting the actor’s intent, timing, and performance.

• Ensure that all shots comply with studio quality benchmarks and meet production timelines.

• Adhere to established workflows, naming conventions, and file management protocols.

• Ensure consistency of animation quality throughout all tasks and the project as a whole.

• Work in coordination with producers and supervisors to fulfill project objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an animator within a studio production pipeline.

• A strong grasp of animation principles.

• Proven experience in animating humanoid characters, creatures, props, and weapons.

• Experience in cleaning up motion capture data.

• Ability to creatively solve problems related to animation tasks.

• Strong communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and a positive demeanor.

• Ability to respond constructively to feedback and take direction from leads and supervisors.

• Proficiency in English communication skills, both spoken and written, is essential.

• Expertise in industry-standard software such as Maya and Motion Builder.

• **DESIRABLE PLUSES:**

• Experience working on a AAA game title or a high-end film production.

• Previous involvement in large-scale productions or long-form projects.

• Familiarity with various animation scripts, rigging, and motion capture systems.

• Experience with communication tools like Slack, JIRA, and Confluence.
