Middle Backend Engineer, Golang

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design, maintain, and enhance backend services using Golang, encompassing RESTful APIs and data contracts.

• Implement and facilitate asynchronous, event-driven communication mechanisms.

• Ensure the reliability of messages, proper error handling, and maintain backward compatibility.

• Contribute to the development of distributed systems and microservices.

• Enhance application performance, reliability, and resource efficiency.

• Engage in technical discussions and implementation tasks.

• Collaborate through code reviews and share knowledge with team members.

• Write and sustain unit and integration tests for APIs, business logic, and integration points.

• Develop secure APIs and service integrations by adhering to best practices in authentication and authorization.

• Create integrations with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, ServiceNow, Genesys Cloud, and various other third-party systems.

• Support and maintain the integrations between internal services and external enterprise platforms.

• Occasionally assist in enhancing React-based frontend functionalities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer.

• Proven experience in developing backend applications and services utilizing Golang.

• Solid understanding of concurrency in Golang and asynchronous workflows.

• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and message handling technologies (e.g., Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ, or similar).

• Experience with AWS and cloud-native environments.

• Proficient in developing RESTful APIs and service integrations.

• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and principles of secure API development.

• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.

• Proficient in using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with automated testing practices, including unit and integration testing.

• Familiarity with React, TypeScript, Protobuf, Azure, or GCP is a plus.

• Experience with IAM solutions such as Keycloak, Auth0, or Okta is a plus.

• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools like Grafana and Prometheus is a plus.
