Middle AI Platform Engineer, Python, Go, Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain cloud infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure as Code.

• Assist in platform architecture encompassing private networking, containers, edge and CDN services, managed storage, IAM, and security boundaries.

• Create and uphold CI/CD pipelines, which include federated identity, access controls, and the differentiation between read and write operations.

• Execute platform observability, monitoring, alerting, and operational dashboards.

• Set up secrets management and rotation protocols.

• Formulate disaster recovery, resilience, and business continuity strategies.

• Construct and maintain serverless functions along with infrastructure automation using Python.

• Establish security guardrails and operational standards for a multi-tenant development platform.

• Collaborate with AI engineering teams to embed agent capabilities and automate deployment workflows.

• Support ephemeral cloud environments utilized for AI-driven application development.

• Enhance production readiness through documented, reviewable, and reversible infrastructure modifications.

• Diagnose complex platform issues and perform root-cause analysis.

• Assume comprehensive ownership of platform stability, reliability, and operational performance.

• Spot opportunities to mitigate deployment friction and enhance the developer experience.

• Contribute to the continual improvement of platform architecture, tools, security, and operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-native infrastructure within a public cloud setting.

• Practical experience using Infrastructure as Code in live environments.

• Familiarity with Go or Go-based infrastructure tools.

• Knowledge of cloud networking, private networks, firewalls, containers, edge and CDN services, managed storage, and IAM.

• Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ideally using GitHub Actions.

• Understanding of federated identity, authorization policies, least-privilege access, and secrets management.

• Experience in implementing observability, monitoring, alerting, and disaster recovery strategies.

• Proficiency in Python for infrastructure automation, serverless functions, or associated services.

• Experience in supporting multi-environment architectures and production-grade platforms.

• Understanding of platform security, resilience, scalability, and operational reliability.

• Strong skills in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.

• Excellent written communication and technical documentation abilities.

• Professional proficiency in English; English level: Upper-Intermediate.

• Capacity to function effectively in ambiguous situations, make sound technical decisions, and take ownership of results.

• Candidates must reside in São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro.
