This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary, +5 more countries.
• Develop various kinds of 3D assets, including characters and environmental props, for video game projects.
• Adhere to established workflows with minimal lead supervision and operate independently.
• Provide assistance to junior artists with occasional tasks.
• Complete project estimations and other necessary documentation.
• Meet visual objectives and stylistic requirements even when blueprints are not fully defined.
• Collaborate across a range of projects and platforms, including console, PC, and mobile.
• Over 3 years of experience and participation in multiple game projects.
• A strong enthusiasm for video games.
• Ability to support colleagues effectively.
• Proficient in following specific workflows with limited lead supervision (autonomy).
• Experience with various standard 3D software packages.
• Familiarity with standard 3D tools such as 3Ds Max, Maya, and Blender.
• Strong skills in lighting and real-time rendering.
• Basic technical knowledge of engines like Unity and Unreal.
• Ability to achieve visual goals and styles without fully defined blueprints.
• Solid understanding of the expected style and visuals for each task or project.
• Competence in art creation pipelines, asset exporting, and process automation workflows.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Skills in reporting and documentation.
• Desirable: Technical experience with asset integration or lighting in Unreal or Unity.
• Desirable: Non-real-time rendering skills.
• Desirable: Skills in 3D animation and rigging.
