Mid SRE – Cloud Product Reliability

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Ensure that cloud products and services maintain reliability, observability, scalability, security, and resilience.

• Safeguard customer experience through high availability, rapid response times, and consistent performance with minimal service interruptions.

• Evaluate success based on uptime, latency, reliability, and customer satisfaction metrics.

• Proactively identify reliability risks and influence architectural decisions.

• Define reliability requirements and assess system behavior under failure scenarios.

• Foster operational excellence, enhance system resilience, and promote ongoing improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 2–5 years of experience in IT operations, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, Platform Engineering, Production Engineering, or Cloud Operations.

• Proficient in designing and implementing reliability engineering practices for cloud-native applications.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.

• Knowledge of operating systems including Linux and/or Windows.

• Basic scripting abilities (PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.).

• Experience with incident management processes and tools.

• Understanding of distributed systems and cloud-based architectures.

• Knowledge of system performance tuning and troubleshooting methods.

• Experience with reliability tools.

• Strong skills in troubleshooting, data analysis, and technical communication.

• Proficient with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.

• Understanding of monitoring and observability platforms.

• Advanced proficiency in English.
