This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Target and manage sales efforts within a specified geographic territory comprising organizations with fewer than 1,500 employees.
β’ Take ownership of the entire sales process, from initial prospecting to closing deals, to effectively enhance Sumo Logic's sales pipeline.
β’ Develop and present precise sales forecasts.
β’ Conduct product demonstrations utilizing online tools for both prospects and existing customers.
β’ Collaborate with internal teams to ensure an exceptional experience for potential customers, addressing their needs effectively.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of experience in a quota-carrying sales role, specifically in B2B applications, including on-demand/SaaS, IT Infrastructure Management, or Cloud Security solutions.
β’ Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas while engaging with a technical audience, such as IT operations, Security, and DevOps teams.
β’ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong emphasis on collaboration.
β’ A well-established contact network within the Big Data ecosystem is highly desirable.
β’ Proficiency in Salesforce is essential.
