This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals.
• Develop a strategic plan tailored for your territory.
• Generate and oversee sales opportunities sourced through outbound efforts.
• Implement a land and expand sales strategy to foster widespread adoption and larger deployments.
• Inform customers about the value of Postman throughout their evaluation and adoption journey.
• Engage with key decision-makers to increase Postman Enterprise visibility within organizations.
• Utilize data to understand your customers and prospects, providing insights into their business challenges.
• Offer recommendations based on customers' business requirements and usage patterns.
• Identify customer needs and work collaboratively with Postman colleagues to ensure long-term customer success.
• Effectively communicate and organize discussions around topics such as billing, legal, security, onboarding, and technical queries.
• Deliver a detailed and accurate sales forecast.
• Collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success Managers, Sales Development representatives, and Leadership to create strategic adoption plans for clients in major accounts.
• Be an attentive listener!
• A high achiever with 3-5 years of experience in hunting and closing net new logos.
• Skilled in creatively sourcing pipeline beyond inbound lead flow.
• Capable of strategically mapping out and penetrating accounts.
• Relevant sales experience within an Enterprise SaaS environment.
• Background in selling developer and/or technical products.
• Demonstrated negotiation and closing abilities, evidenced by consistently exceeding sales targets with the right-fit customers.
• Strong history of navigating organizations effectively.
• Experience in presenting to senior management and C-suite executives.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities concurrently at different stages of the buying process.
• Actively interested in enhancing customer satisfaction and strengthening customer relationships.
