Mid-Level Water and Wastewater Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Offering technical support to small, underserved water and wastewater utilities nationwide to secure funding and develop, construct, and maintain sustainable and resilient water infrastructure systems, ensuring clean water for their communities.

• Evaluating and advocating for innovative water and wastewater treatment technologies while creating resources to mitigate barriers to their implementation.

• Analyzing the design, costs, and environmental effects of prospective water and wastewater infrastructure initiatives.

• Drafting preliminary engineering reports.

• Executing sampling and survey programs, conducting advanced data analysis of environmental sampling outcomes, and producing clear data analysis reports.

• Establishing methods to manage discharges of PFAS and other emerging contaminants that pose a risk to human health and the environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemical, environmental, or civil engineering.

• Minimum GPA of 3.0 (college transcripts required).

• 3 to 8 years of relevant experience.

• Strong writing and communication abilities.

• Proficiency in utilizing spreadsheets and other software tools for data compilation, analysis, and presentation.

• Excellent time management skills with the capacity to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced work setting.

• Exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and the ability to produce high-quality, client-ready deliverables.

• A collaborative team player capable of promoting cooperation.
