Mid-Level Strategic Employment Lawyer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Manage employment litigation cases of varying complexity, performing strategic analyses, assessing risks, and developing legal strategies.

• Draft and review legal documents, including defenses, appeals, submissions, and other pleadings.

• Attend hearings, present oral arguments, and negotiate settlements while advocating for clients’ interests.

• Prepare litigation and contingency reports, encompassing risk analysis and classification.

• Communicate directly with clients, delivering analyses, litigation strategies, and updates on case progress.

• Oversee administrative proceedings and engage in out-of-court negotiations.

• Assist with legal research in the preparation of legal opinions and more intricate analyses.

• Review pleadings, submissions, and reports generated by junior attorneys, offering technical guidance.

• Participate in internal meetings and training sessions.

• Contribute to initiatives aimed at continuous improvement, innovation, and efficiency in legal processes.

• Adhere to standards of quality, ethics, confidentiality, and deadline management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree and active membership with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Employment Law, ideally in strategic employment litigation.

• Proven experience managing court proceedings and drafting medium to high complexity pleadings.

• Proficient in English, especially for written correspondence.

• Familiarity with the ADVPlus system.

• Genuine interest in and curiosity about innovation, technology, and artificial intelligence in legal practice.

• Must reside in São Paulo, Brazil.
