Mid-Level Software Engineer, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and implement scalable, resilient, highly available, and high-performance applications.

• Assist in collecting both business and technical requirements.

• Generate both technical and non-technical documentation, including diagrams and flowcharts.

• Lead initiatives of medium complexity, collaborating with business and other technical teams.

• Effectively resolve issues by analyzing and debugging code.

• Collaborate on evaluating and defining the architecture of systems and software.

• Identify and suggest enhancements to existing systems to boost productivity, scalability, stability, and control.

• Develop unit and integration tests.

• Create and manage APIs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Java; familiarity with Python is an advantage.

• Understanding of relational databases and experience with SQL, including Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GoCD.

• Experience using distributed version control systems like Git.

• Background in agile software development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.

• Knowledge of design patterns.

• Experience with automated testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito.

• Understanding of AI development.
