Mid-Level Software Engineer, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assess, discuss, and participate in system architecture decisions.

• Convert business requirements into architectural designs and systems.

• Analyze, document, code, perform code reviews, debug, test, and deliver applications.

• Oversee the environment and implement proactive measures to ensure platform health.

• Collaborate with associated teams and departments.

• Contribute to enhancements in engineering processes.

• Deliver comprehensive features utilizing AI as a productivity enhancer while upholding quality standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

• Proficiency in data structures and object-oriented programming concepts.

• Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.

• Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin programming languages.

• Familiarity with the Spring Framework (Boot, Data, Cloud, etc.).

• Experience with Git, Gradle/Maven, and CI/CD tools.

• Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle and/or MySQL.

• Experience in developing REST APIs.

• Understanding of asynchronous communication using messaging brokers (RabbitMQ, JMS, Kafka, etc.).

• Knowledge of system monitoring tools and practices, including New Relic, Grafana, and ELK.

• Familiarity with test automation methodologies.

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools integrated into the development workflow.

• Experience with specification-driven development (SDD).

• Proficient in technical English.
