Mid-Level Quality Engineer – Focus on Credit Granting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the development of the quality strategy within your team, taking into account every aspect of the solution, from defining requirements to code creation.

• Design and implement test scenarios based on business requirements represented as user stories, while managing testing activities and demonstrating expertise in the relevant tools.

• Create automated tests for both APIs and user interfaces.

• Collaborate throughout the entire product development lifecycle, from initial conception to production deployment and ongoing maintenance.

• Engage in collaborative product design efforts.

• Participate in Quality Chapters and Communities of Practice, fostering and promoting a culture of quality among colleagues and teams within our organization.


⛳️ Requirements

• Develop testing strategies at various levels (Unit, Integration, System, Acceptance) utilizing both manual and automated testing methods.

• Create and execute automated tests (for APIs and web interfaces) integrated with pipeline execution (using GitLab).

• Introduce process, technical, and tooling enhancements for the team and operation to improve quality.

• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and working collaboratively in teams, particularly in Agile Testing environments.

• Validate non-functional requirements.

• Proficient in Java/JavaScript.

• Familiarity with frameworks such as TestNG and JUnit.

• Knowledge of tools such as Rest Assured, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, and BrowserStack.

• Understanding of software development practices and design patterns.

• Experience with Cloud Computing infrastructures.

• Familiarity with concepts related to microservices and distributed architecture.
