Mid-level Lawyer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Data Privacy: Lead and initiate the company's initiatives to secure and uphold compliance with the LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law).

• Contracts: Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, partnership agreements, confidentiality agreements (NDAs), and supplier contracts.

• Digital Policies: Evaluate, update, and create privacy policies and terms of use for our platforms and applications.

• Product Legal / Product Compliance (Legal Design): Analyze legal implications and regulatory risks associated with new product features, delivering consultative, integrated support to Technology and Product teams.

• Customer Compliance: Conduct compliance assessments of customers and execute essential security validations to ensure platform integrity.

• Litigation and Advisory: Oversee and track any legal matters and administrative or judicial claims involving the company, coordinating with external law firms as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Law degree and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).

• Prior experience in Digital Law, Contracts, and Data Privacy (LGPD).

• Organization and Autonomy: Capability to manage and prioritize daily tasks while suggesting enhancements to existing legal workflows.

• Familiarity with Technology: Comfortable working in a technology/SaaS environment and adept at translating complex legal concepts for business purposes.

• Exceptional written communication skills and strong analytical capabilities.

• Preferred (not required, but advantageous):

• Specialization, courses, or certifications in LGPD / Data Privacy.

• Previous experience in startups, technology companies, or SaaS.
